Protection that keeps your finish looking like day one.

Sovereign Hull Marine installs premium paint protection film for boats and yachts across the Carolinas — guarding your hull's finish, inside and out, against sun, spray, and the marina wall you'd rather forget.

Service Area

Proudly serving the Carolinas — mobile installation, wherever your boat is stored

Certification

Founding installers completing advanced marine PPF certification — 2026 season

The Difference

Local ownership. No shortcuts.

We're not a call center dispatching a subcontractor — we're the people who show up and do the work.

Hands-On Craft

Every install is done by an owner, not handed off to a rotating crew.

Mobile Convenience

We travel to your driveway, storage lot, or boatyard — exterior hull work just requires your boat to be out of the water first.

Meticulous Prep

Full decontamination and correction before film ever touches the surface.

Built On Your Water

Trained and practiced on the same Carolina waters your boat lives on.

Why Sovereign Hull

Your hull works hard. It should look like it doesn't.

  • Local, hands-on ownership

You're working directly with the people doing the install, not a call center.

  • Built on the water you actually use

Every technique is proven on Lake Murray and Lake Norman before it ever touches a customer's hull.

  • No shortcuts on prep

Protection is only as good as the surface it's applied to — we don't skip steps.

1

Full Hull Wraps

Complete edge-to-edge coverage that shields gelcoat from UV fade, oxidation, and everyday wear. This is the most comprehensive layer of protection we offer, built for boats that spend every day on the water.

2

Outboard Motor Protection

Film protection for cowlings and motor housings — guarding against dock rash, prop scratches, exhaust residue, and UV fade so your motors look as sharp as the day you bought them.

3

Bow & Impact Zones

Reinforced protection where docking, debris, and chop hit hardest — the first line of defense against the dings and scuffs that add up over a season.

4

Waterline & Transom

Targeted film application on the surfaces that take the most constant abrasion and staining, keeping the lines of your boat looking clean season after season.

5

Interior Protection

PPF for helm surfaces, consoles, and high-touch interior points that see constant sun exposure and daily wear — protecting the parts of your boat you touch every time you're aboard.

6

Care & Maintenance

Seasonal inspections and film upkeep to keep your protection performing at its best, year after year.

Common Questions

What is marine PPF, exactly?

A quick primer if this is new to you — most boat owners have heard of ceramic coating, fewer have heard of film.

1

What is paint protection film?

A thin, optically clear polyurethane film applied directly to your hull and other high-wear surfaces. It's a physical barrier, not a chemical coating — it takes the impact, UV exposure, and abrasion so your gelcoat doesn't have to.

2

How is this different from wax or ceramic coating?

Wax and ceramic coatings are chemical sealants — they add shine and some protection, but they're microns thick and wear off. Film has real physical thickness, so it protects against dock rash, scratches, and impact the way a coating simply can't.

3

Will it change how my boat looks?

No — high-quality film is optically clear and designed to preserve your factory finish, not alter it. Once installed, it's virtually invisible.

4

How long does an install take, and how long does it last?

Timeline and lifespan both depend on your boat's size and which package you choose — we'll walk through specifics for your exact boat during your consultation rather than guess here.

Step1

Consultation

We walk your boat with you, note trouble spots, and scope exactly what needs protecting — so there are no surprises once the work begins.

Step2

Detail & Prep

Surfaces are fully cleaned, decontaminated, and corrected before a single panel is cut. Protection is only as good as the surface underneath it.

Step3

Precision Install

Film is fitted and set to your hull's exact curves, with seams hidden along natural lines wherever possible.

Step4

Final Inspection

Every edge checked, every panel confirmed, before we call the job done.
